The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart. During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as other models do, to map your home. iRobot Roomba s9+ The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience. The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place it can begin automated cleaning with a single button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned. This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair with ease. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models. The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models. iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price cost. Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is better – its spinning pads clean your floors better than a vibrating pad. It's only downside is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level. As for the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones produce little noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it before moving on. The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of notifying you when something needs attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin. You can also create and combine rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest cleaning them off with a cloth before sending the robot into. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects. The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7. This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty. Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, so you can control it even when you're not home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path. The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. Look At This mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a variety of convenience features you don't often see on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize various flooring types, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need. The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is slim and tall and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles. On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can modify how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. Its mops also do a great job and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn't as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
